After seeing Nessa use that ability, the king approached her and then looked at his daughter and his brows furrowed wondering if Nessa was the reason, his daughter had improved in using her magic.
"I didn't know you had that talent, it is very similar to my daughters and from what I have just seen and because of my experience, I can tell that it is far stronger than that," The king said as he stepped forward and Nessa glanced at him and her eyes narrowed as a smile appeared on her face.
"Well, it is strong and no one asked whether I had any sort of ability or not, so I didn't find the need to say anything about it when it wasn't necessary," She replied and he scoffed then exhaled deeply as one of the beasts were coming towards him.
The king's eyes shimmered and before anyone could say anything, he rushed off, slashing the beasts using his ability and it was done very fast, seeing him fight like that, made Nessa smile a little.
"Father, you don't have to be doing all of this," Nios said and Mikala smiled as she stared at her father and the king continued fighting and Nessa's eyes narrowed as she looked at his speed, despite his age.
"It's fine, I might be getting old but I am not weak, I don't need protection, not as yet at least, I can still fight, I am the king as well, don't underestimate me," He said as he killed a few of them at once and Nios sighed, as did Reign.
'I understand their concern, after all, he is their father but he is also right, he is still their king and I bet, from what I have seen so far and know of him, no matter how old he gets, as long as he is healthy, he won't stop fighting,' Nessa thought and that's when she noticed that a few were targeting Mikala.
Nessa rushed forth to the girl and when Mikala turned around, she saw Nessa kill them with just one shot of her ability and her eyes shimmered a little.
"Amazing," She said and Nessa glanced at her and the girl smiled as though she was a fan girl and Nessa scoffed.
Nessa and the others looked back at the little mess the beast caused and the king exhaled deeply then gritted his teeth, wondering why they had to deal with so many things at once and he looked at the beast.
"I have had enough of this," Reign said as his eyes lit up and Mikala clenched her right fist as she saw some of the people that were slightly injured within the city.
The king pointed his sword towards the beast since they had managed to push it a little bit away from the city and they were with it as well, since now they were able to fight a bit freely.
"I am going to defeat it," The king said as his body began glowing slightly orange and Nessa glanced at him.
'I am not sure if I need to fight here, I will just observe and help if they need it, I think the king alone is enough for it or even with the help of one of the others, after all, this is not the more serious part of what may come here next, I don't know if they will attack here in a mass number, but if they don't, they will attack in a different form, who knows how, I will step back,' She thought.
Nessa stepped back and the beast released an attack, which they dodged and the king rushed towards it and its gaze shifted to him.

The beast shot an attack toward the king and he dodged it but just when he was going to attack it, the beast moved and when the king saw that he smirked and it hit the king away with its tails and his children looked at him.
"Fun," He said as his eyes glowed brighter and he lifted his sword up as the beast rushed towards him and he released a fire bullet mixed with another attack towards him and when it exploded, it sent the king flying and the attack, vibrated the ground a little.
