Nessa and the demon were glad that he agreed, but they were both cautious of the man, since he was still a demon lord after all, one that could possibly change his mind within the blink of an eye and leave them behind, which was a risk they could not take, no matter what.
Nessa approach him and leaned in closer as he stared at her, stunned, wondering what she was doing and at her audacity to approach him like that, since he was a demon lord and to him, this girl was either stupid of very brave to do that.

The demon lord tilted his head as he looked at her, waiting to see what she was up to and he reached forward to touch the mask she was wearing, his finger brushing against her cheek slightly and her eyes narrowed as she looked at his hand and the demon's eyes darkened, since he did not like that a bit.
The demon lowered his head slightly, not knowing why he was reacting like that over a simple act like that and he clenched his fists to keep his mouth shut.
"Do not touch me so casually and act like you know me, it's bad manners," Nessa said as she gripped the demon lord's hand and took it off of her.
"Is that so You are quite a feisty one, aren't you? Alright, I will see to respecting your boundaries despite the fact you seem to be invading mine," He said with a smirk and raised brows as he leaned back against his throne and she rolled her eyes.
"Tell me, what are you up to girl?" He asked as her eyes glowed blue and a scroll appeared in her hand.
"Yes, you are right, we suspected that as well when one of our friends was hunted by them so that he wouldn't be able to leak the information he found out," Nessa responded.
"This friend of yours... Did he get to tell you?" He asked.
"No, he is in a coma, he barely escaped death's door," She responded and the demon lord scoffed.
"Death huh? It's been a while since I have heard that word, it's not one that I have had to worry about before you know, nor those around me, that's for sure but it seems as though things as well as times are now changing, a lot has been different lately," He said and Nessa glanced at him, realizing he had let his guard down around them and her eyes narrowed the she scoffed.
"You are right, both are changing and I suggest you demon lords try and change with them or you will all fall, sooner or later and that's a fact," She replied and he looked at her then sighed.
"You are right about that darling.... We have to or we will crumble since a lot of new talents are rising lately, ones that have not gone unnoticed by us... Some may even be a threat to us, which is why we are rising to new peaks," He said as he looked her directly in her eyes, which were unwavering and almost fearless, something he found rare and so did the demon.
"I will start gathering the information you guys need and tell you where you need to go next, based on the organization's recent activities, for now, my servants will show you to the guest room, enjoy your stay and we will continue this conversation later," He said.
"Got it, thank you," Nessa said as she bpwed her head a litte, as did the demon.
"You two are something else, my guess the next place you two will be heading will be a lot harsher and more demonic," He said with a chuckle before the servants approach them and lead both of them away from the throne room to the guest rooms and the demon lord's eyes narrowed, fixed on their retreating forms.
