After what felt like hours to them, both of them finally arrived at the very front of Valnar, a city mixed with magic, filled with beings that were both vampire as well as other magical folks like the other lands, hardly any humans in sight and if they were, they were mostly traders.
The city stood tall, surrounded by a few valleys along with the woods, there were quite a few watch towers and guards almost everywhere you turned, even though the place was quite busy already.
As they entered the city, the guards did a scan with a device infused with magic and checked them to make sure they had nothing of the sort that would cause any problems or make them look as if they were a threat.
Once they were satisfied, they allowed Nessa and the demon to pass, as they looked around, they saw the city was mixed with a bit of the current time as well as a few old-fashioned buildings and houses, but that only added to its allure, making it feel for most of the beings that were there, at home and safe.
As they were looking around the city, Nessa decided to find a place to stay but the demon stopped her, telling her it would not be safe and that she should find the leaders of the city and have a talk with them first before they actually stir up problem, for they were there as unexpected visitors.
She knew the demon was right, but she was also a little tired but had no time to relax, since she had to get to the bottom of the situation as soon as possible and made sure some of the powerful nations, does not come crumbling under the organization's authority or that would make lots much more difficult.
She nodded at him then they began asking about a few guards and how they could meet with the leaders, but all had one answer, if the leaders wanted to meet with someone, they would come to them first, which did not help Nessa in the slightest, since she was a little agitated, from having too much to do already.
The demon looked up at her, before bracing against a wall, with his arms crossed, amused and curious as to what made the sound but no one else around seemed bothered by it in the slightest, even though it could have been an attack, or something else, which made him just as curious as Nessa.
Nessa looked around the area and her eyes narrowed as she noticed two figures moving quite fast in the sky and her brows furrowed as she got closer, wondering what it was and what was going on, since it seemed pretty unusual to her.
A few people from below noticed Nessa in the air and wondered who she was, to have such an ability known as the skywalk.
"What the hell..." She mumbled as she kept on looking and the demon decided to talk to a few vendors to check if they knew more than they were actually letting on.
As he was looking around, he felt someone's gaze on him and his eyes narrowed, but instead of acknowledging them, he decided to play the game and pretend he did not know he was being watched, waiting for them to come out themselves, since he did not know whether the person was a friend or foe to them and he was not going to risk Nessa's safety.
He waited while keeping a close eye on Nessa and his eyes narrowed, for he began feeling something weird mixing with the energy that was flowing around the city, something that was not supposed to be there in the first place and his brows furrowed, wondering whether it was anything to worry about or not.
"Why is an outsider like you guys looking for our leaders? What business do you have here?" The voice of a male asked and the demon smirked then turned around with his eyes narrowed as a guy dressed in normal attire and a hood over his head, with a weapon on his back stepped forth from within an alleyway.
At the same time, Nessa noticed there were two figures fighting in the sky and when one of them spotted her, they were about to attack her, but her eyes glowed bright red and she countered their attack, as their hands collided, she stopped their attack and lightning was released from in between them, capturing everyone from below attention.
