It was clear to both Nessa and the demon that their reason for visiting the nation had completely caught them off guard, it was as though they were displeased with the reason, or shocked by it, making it unexpected, due to the bewildered looks the three of them had on their faces.
Nessa's eyes narrowed as she looked at them wondering why they suddenly went silent, as though she said the most ridiculous thing in the world to them.
Agra and Lev exchanged glances, then she looked down at the hooded stranger beside the demon, who exhaled deeply before nodding slightly.
Agra approached Nessa, who looked at her wondering what she was up to once again and Agra exhaled deeply before her eyes began glowing slightly red, mixed with a pink hue.
"Why do you want to see the demon lord?" Agra asked.
"Now that business is between us and the demon lord, I do not see a reason to need to tell you it," She responded and Agra's brows twitched in irritation once again, that was the third time Nessa had managed to get under her skin.
Normally, no one walked away unscathed after messing with her, but for some reason this one was doing it without even realizing it or trying to, which was even more aggravating in her eyes, it made her want to snap something in two.
"You have quite the nerve you know, it is my first time having to deal with someone like you, you are lucky I cannot snap you in two, as tempting as it may sound," Agra said with an undertone of a growl and Nessa chuckled, then patted her shoulder and Agra froze a bit and Lev held back a laugh.
He had never seen Agra so thrown off of her game before and seeing her so frustrated for the first time ever was quite amusing to him but he held back his laugh, since he wanted to save himself from her wrath.
"Is this where the demon lord lives?" The demon asked as he arrived beside Nessa, along with the hooded person and Agra glanced at him and her eyes narrowed, ever so slightly.
"Yes, this is where the demon lord lives, not all of them wants castle and palaces, that is very inconvenient at times," Agra responded and Nessa chuckled, she could relate to that.
"Come on in," Agra said as she walked into the mansion and they all followed her inside of the manor.
The manor was cream on the inside, with many different types of accessories, paintings and tapestries, as well as a few weapons by a nearby wall.
The place was quite suited for a demon lord and contained valuables, some of which seemed quite pricey.
As they walked Nessa came to a halt when she sensed a strong aura coming from an object nearby and she was about to approach it to see what it was, since she could sense it from a little distance, but Lev came in her way and Agra glanced back at them.
"I am sorry, but it is best if you avoid certain things," Lev said to her. Her brows furrowed as she looked at him, wondering why he was stopping her from getting any closer to whatever she was sensing at the time.
"You both sense it huh? What you sense right now, is something that could be used for many different things, for good or bad, but it could also come at a price if you are weak of mind, if you do not have the prowess to wield it, It is a relic, one of the ancient times and one that contains demonic power or at least if infused within it in a thin layer," Agra said as the glanced between the demon and Nessa, then Lev moved aside cautiously.
Agra gestured for them to follow her, so she could show them what she was talking about before she could take them to see the demon lord and they followed her to the relic.
