Assassin at Range: The Sniper's Lethal Power

Chapter 75 75: What a Big Guy!

Chapter 75 75: What a Big Guy!

Tristan was deep in thought.

How could he kill as many Goblins as possible in the shortest amount of time?

With his current stats, regular Goblins couldn't withstand the full damage of Toxic Blood Plague. Once a Goblin died, the plague would spread rapidly. If the Goblins were slow to react, they could be wiped out in one go!@@@@

But sadly, as good as this idea sounded, reality was a bit more complicated.

From what Tristan knew about Goblins, these cowardly creatures would instinctively flee when many of their comrades died. If they were in a den, where there was a leader to keep them in check, the fleeing would be slightly mitigated. But this time, it was a Goblin gathering. From the direction they were coming from, it was clear they were from different dens.

Once chaos broke out, the underlings wouldn't be able to find their leaders, and the leaders wouldn't find their underlings. The Goblins would likely scatter in all directions.

The spread range of Toxic Blood Plague was just ten meters. Given the Goblins' speed, they could easily get out of range in the blink of an eye.

In the face of death, Goblins would unleash their full potential and run like sprinters.

This meant Tristan wouldn't be able to take out all the Goblins in one go. So, he had to figure out how to maximize his gains.

"Find the densest concentration of Goblins and strike unexpectedly. That should let me take out a few hundred all at once, then the spread will stop."

Tristan began to plan his attack.

"After the initial chaos, the remaining Goblins will charge forward to attack."

"And that will be the second wave of Toxic Blood Plague."

"After that, the remaining Goblins probably won't have the courage to charge anymore."

"At this point, the BOSS-level Goblins will step in, gathering the near-collapsing Goblins back together."

"And that will give me one last chance for the final plague explosion."

"Three waves of spread, that should wipe out about 70% of the Goblins. If we're talking about 2,000 Goblins, that's a huge chunk."

"With such heavy losses, the regular Goblins will lose their final courage and completely collapse."

"But by then, my goal will be mostly achieved."

"Two thousand Goblins, even if they're just regular monsters, the experience alone will be enough to level me up multiple times. Not to mention all the evolution points."

"And then there are those BOSS-level Goblins."

"If all goes well, my evolution points might even break thirty in one go, enough to evolve a Gold Grade skill!"

"Or maybe I could evolve a class skill to Gold Grade and unlock new traits."

Just thinking about it made Tristan's blood rush. He could hardly wait to dive into the valley.

But he knew it wasn't time yet.

To maximize his benefits, he had to be patient.

From ExoGenesis's launch until his rebirth, it had been a full decade. The game had undergone multiple major updates, and the cities had expanded significantly.

Compared to that, Tristan wasn't as clear on the early stages of the cities' growth.

Especially since his previous life's main city wasn't Davi City, so his recollections were limited.

But there were a few classic quest lines he still remembered.

He'd also need to take care of some outdoor side quests when the time came.

"Busy, busy," Tristan thought to himself with a sigh.

As time passed, the number of Goblins entering the valley started to dwindle. It was taking several minutes for new Goblins to arrive.

Looking at the time, it was already past 11 PM.

Most of the Goblins who were going to show up had arrived.

Tristan estimated the number of Goblins in the valley.

3,500!

It was even more than he had expected.

Not only that, but he also spotted a few Silver Grade Goblins arriving from outside the valley and being led deeper into it.

Due to the dim light, Tristan couldn't see what was deeper in the valley, but he could guess.

There had to be a Gold Grade Goblin there!

Otherwise, why would those Silver Grade Goblins be so obedient? They would have started causing trouble for each other long ago.

As Silver Grade BOSSes, they wouldn't submit to one another.

To keep order, there had to be a Gold Grade Goblin in charge.

Just as Tristan continued his covert observation, a loud cheer erupted from the valley.

More and more Goblins joined in, creating a deafening wave of noise that even made the ground vibrate.

Boom, boom.

The war drums were sounded.

Over a hundred Goblins, each carrying a hook and chain, emerged from the shadows, their iron chains attached to a carriage made of bone.

Atop the carriage stood a giant Goblin, over four meters tall, clad in heavy armor and wielding a war hammer.

Ho.

What a giant Goblin!
