Chapter 805 Beacon
[Throne of Glassvolt Heir (Gold)]
[The bedrock of your Monarchy starts in your heart and extends to your lands. Should your Will remain firm, you will rule for an Eternity. But a darkness lingers in your heart that suffocates your growth, only to be shredded apart by a deathly bolt from the Heavens, a wrath from a sky lord. A True Emperor has no need of Strength but His Own.]

"Bring me to the weakest E-Grade Glassinox here."
The Ruby Finger Serpent blinked, then trembled slightly in fear, but as though Sylas' gaze overwhelmed it, it re-focused itself.
Then, with a nod, its body shook again, a red glow enveloping Sylas.
SHUUUU!
The duo shot off into the distance.
With Beacon still active, the Serpentes changed direction in real time, following after Sylas like a true hoard of beasts.
Beasts of other lineages split away, running. There was no way that they could face off against this hoard.
Sylas found himself moving faster than he ever had in his life.
This was the unique ability of the Ruby Finger Lineage. Not only were they exceptionally fast themselves, but they had the ability to share their speed given the right circumstances.
They were excellent Familiars to have, not that they were true Familiars.
But, expectedly, they were extraordinarily powerful creatures. They were among the strongest of Bronze Serpentes.
Soon, Sylas saw it.
The Ruby Finger descendant came to a grinding halt, lurching slightly.
The beast ahead was large and looming, tightly winding itself into a comfortable spiral as it rested in the depths of a golden lake.
Its scales were a blinding golden color, so much so that it would have been easy to miss it amidst all the water had it not had a pair of jet black horns that stood out like a sore thumb.
From head to toe, it couldn't have been any less than 200 meters long, and every time it took a breath, the trees in the surroundings bent and twisted, more lightning sparking in the skies above.
It was only then that Sylas realized that the lightning he had seen in the skies above all this time weren't just a trick of the light after all.
From the very start...
It was because of this behemoth of a creature.

[Glassinox (???)]
[Level: 51]
—
Sylas stared at it, his battle intent slowly climbing as the number of Serpentes in the region steadily grew larger and larger.
However, their reactions were little different from the Ruby Finger.
They feared the Glassinox no less than they feared Sylas himself.
Sylas would have felt this pressure too... had it not been for the fact his Beast Totem made him immune.
It was then he did something that seemed utterly foolish.
He turned it off.
The pressure crashed into him in a sickening wave that nearly shattered his bones to pieces.
All the while, the Glassinox never opened its eyes.
Slowly, Sylas nodded.
His Will bloomed, blackened scales coating his body from head to toe.
A savage aura rushed out of him in a tidal wave.
Finally...
The Glassinox stirred awake.
