Chapter 264 Unexpected welcome
Just then, a group of Nu tribe members approached Julian. The surrounding villagers parted, making way for them with respect.
At the front of the group was a woman who seemed to hold a position of great importance, judging by the way others bowed in her presence.
Julian couldn't help but feel an odd sensation as he looked at her. "Am I imagining it, or does she feel ancient despite looking fairly young?" he thought, his brows slightly furrowing. Enjoy new stories from empire
Next, his gaze shifted to a man walking beside her. The man had a muscular physique, exuding a strong and commanding aura.
However, it was the woman walking beside the man who truly captured Julian's attention.
She was stunning, with dark skin and a milfy, curvy figure. Her large breasts were partially covered by the simple fabric, yet their magnificence and beauty was impossible to ignore.
I am a tits man after all, he said inwardly with a soft chuckle. The short skirt swayed lightly as she walked, adding to her allure.
Beside her was a boy who looked younger than Julian. Julian's gaze shifted briefly to the boy before returning to the enchanting woman.
The muscular man narrowed his eyes as he inspected Julian. His voice carried a sense of authority as he asked, "Hanu, who is this, and where have you been at this late hour?"
Hanu quickly stepped forward, "Father, this is big brother Julian. He barely survived an attack by a Necharwas! I found him near the river, and I brought him here."
Julian bowed slightly. "I'm sorry for causing any trouble. Little Hanu here is too kindhearted. He brought me here out of his innocence. I mean no harm to your tribe."
The man's expression softened slightly, though his eyes remained cautious. The woman beside him, the one who had captured Julian's attention earlier, studied him curiously but said nothing.
Meanwhile, the villagers murmured among themselves, their curiosity about the newcomer evident in their expression.
Hanu turned toward the woman at the front. "Grandma, please forgive me for being late. Can Brother Julian stay with us today? He has nowhere to go." he asked.
The older woman crouched down and pulled him into a warm hug. Her voice was gentle, "If little Hanu says it, then we will definitely say yes." she said.
"What is that?" he asked, pointing toward the dish. "Can I have a taste?"
Before anyone could respond, Hanu's father quickly interjected, "No, you should not. Those are the meat of Necharwas. They are poisonous to outsiders. We have been eating them for generations, so we have become immune to the poison." His tone was slightly louder than usual.
Julian's eyes widened in realization and gave a polite smile. "Ah, I see. Thank you for letting me know."
Hanu's father nodded with a slight smile tugging at the corners of his mouth. "So, how do you like our village?" he asked.
Julian smiled warmly, "I feel peaceful and welcomed here. And also, there seem to be many children here."
Hanu's mother smiled at his words. "Yes, we believe that children are gifts from the God." Her voice was full of pride and warmth. "That's why we have so many children."
Julian couldn't help but glance at her figure, his eyes briefly falling on her breasts, but he quickly refocused on the conversation.
The family seems too religious, maybe too much, he thought.
His gaze then shifted to Hanu's brother who sat quietly. He seemed introverted compared to Hanu's lively energy. Julian found himself curious about the boy but didn't ask anything.
As the conversation carried on, Hanu eagerly introduced his family members.
"Big brother Julian, this is my grandmother, Aria," he said gesturing to the older woman who had welcomed Julian earlier.
"And that's my father, Amir," he added, pointing to the strong, commanding man who had questioned him earlier.
"My mother is Dakota," he said, looking at the warm, smiling woman. Finally, he gestured toward his quiet brother. "And that's Harith."
Julian nodded respectfully to each of them. "It's an honor to meet all of you," he said with sincerity. "You've been incredibly kind to a stranger like me."
Aria chuckled softly. "In our tribe, kindness is as sacred as the God we worship."
