As soon as "Zong Wu's" words fell, the air around him trembled slightly. The next instant, twelve cultivators clad in thick, black armor emerged from a spacetime rift.

However, his face aged with deep wrinkles, and his hair turned white in an instant. The rest of the cultivators behind him aged visibly as well, and their once-youthful faces were now withered and pale.

Everyone stood in shock, watching in stunned silence.

"Zong Wu" stared in disbelief. "What sword technique was that?!"

He knew how strong his guards were; they were meticulously trained, and each one was clad in armor crafted from rare materials. They were strong enough to take on three opponents in the same realm at once.

Despite that, Yue Qi's single sword strike had reduced them to such a horrifying state.

Ye Guanzhi looked at Yue Qi in amazement.

"Zong Wu" sneered. "You're the one who's going too far. Ye Guanzhi. If it weren't for your lucky break of coincidentally helping the Academy Master back then, you wouldn't have the right to speak to me."

At his command, his twelve guards prepared to move again, but Yue Qi, though weakened, stepped forward with her sword raised. Her gaze was cold and brimming with killing intent. "If I strike once more, you people will die."

The guards hesitated.

Ye Guanzhi's voice echoed. "Are you aware of the path you're on? Are you truly prepared to follow him to your own ruin?"

He was aware of the Heaven Seizing Clan's strength, and the Heaven Seizing Clan once tried to kill the Academy Master's backers.

"Hahaha!" Heaven Seizing Dao laughed heartily. "So people still know of my clan? That's a surprise!"

"Zong Wu" glared. "Why are you here?"

Heaven Seizing Dao shrugged with a grin. "I want redemption—oh, no, I mean, I want to turn over a new leaf."

Heaven Seizing Dao glanced at the speechless Ye Guan.

"Zong Wu" was furious. "Turn over a new leaf? What nonsense."

Heaven Seizing Dao sighed in resignation. "Back then, I had no choice. Now, I want to be a good man."

He glanced at Ye Guan again, much to the crowd's bewilderment.

"Zong Wu's" face darkened. "Heaven Seizing Dao, have you lost your mind? Do you even understand what you're doing?"

"Enough talk. Let's get straight to the action!" Heaven Seizing Dao grinned and stepped forward to throw a powerful punch!

A terrifying energy pierced the air and swept across the battlefield. The four guards were forced to retreat beneath the overwhelming attack. They were completely overpowered!

"Zong Wu's" face darkened at the sight, and his expression twisted with disbelief. He hadn't expected such a supreme elite to appear out of nowhere.

Ye Guanzhi glanced at Heaven Seizing Dao, and her mind was filled with many questions. She was familiar with Heaven Seizing Dao. Years ago, the Academy Master once fought against the Heaven Seizing Clan.

It was a big incident, so there was no way she would forget about it.

She hadn't expected that Heaven Seizing Dao would suddenly appear here, not to mention step in to help them.

There was something wrong here.

There was definitely something wrong, knowing Heaven Seizing Dao wasn't the type to make a move for no reason. Ye Guanzhi's gaze shifted to Ye Guan, who was standing behind Heaven Seizing Dao. Is he somehow connected to the Academy Master?

After laughing for a while, "Zong Wu" fixed his gaze on Ye Guan and said with a smirk, "Now I see where your confidence is coming from. So, this Heaven Seizing Dao is your backer?

"Do you honestly think a paltry Heaven Seizing Clan can scare us? How ridiculous."

"Zong Wu" pointed at Heaven Seizing Dao with narrowed eyes. "The Heaven Seizing Clan is nothing but a weak, insignificant clan. Let me make this clear—even the Academy Master can't save you today!"

Several powerful auras pervaded the air, and the battlefield transformed at once, seeming as if it were amidst a tempest.
