Chapter 395 The Multi-Task Watch
Chapter 395 The Multi-Task Watch
The Multi-Task Watch lights up.
[Do you want the tutorial on how to use it?]
"..." Stark looked at the panel for a few seconds before declining, "I'm a fast learner, I think."
[Are you sure, most people don't know how to use it once getting it.]
"Yeah, I'm sure." Explore more stories at empire
[Alright.]
The watch opened up, revealing that it didn't work like a phone, where you needed to look at a screen. Instead, like Stark had seen with Oliver, it projected a holographic display.
Looking up, Stark saw the main menu, which displayed seven applications: Contact, Missions, Domination Association News, Alerts, Market, Internet, and Info.
The first app he explored was Contact.
It already had the contacts of every commander in the association preloaded.
[I made sure to add us all to your contact app, as usually you would have to befriend a member and exchange contacts to be able to communicate, though it's much easier than a phone!]
Ed left a note that popped up the moment Stark opened the app for the first time.
"So I guess even when you decline, the tutorial's still here..." Stark mumbled.
He had no messages from anybody, though Alexis, Oliver, Tia, Unity and Ed were all present, and he was able to message them.
The app worked exactly like a normal messaging platform on a phone, except now it was conveniently on his watch.
[You can also add other people you know outside of the Domination Assocation,] another notification appeared.
This already felt like a significant improvement over a phone. It was much easier to carry around and could even be used during battles without any hassle.
Next, Stark checked out Missions.
However, all that greeted him was a simple message:
[You haven't been given any missions. Maybe later...]
"Huh."
"Huh." He wasn't planning on using it for now anyway, so he quickly moved on.
The third app, Domination Association News, caught his attention.
It functioned like a news outlet, delivering updates about the association's activities to all its members.
The top headline, published a week ago, read: [All Transformed Immortal-Level Participants have been taken care of.]
[For furniture, you'll need to confirm the teleportation location, so it might take a little longer. But for most items like weapons, potions, and equipment, the delivery will always take around an hour.]
This was insanity.
Instinctively, Stark searched up an [Immortal Breakthrough Stone], and of course, results appeared for every country.
[Fellarburg - Immortal Breakthrough Stone - 500,000,000 rher coins]
[Lampod - Immortal Breakthrough Stone - 510,000,000 rher coins]
[Braemont - Immortal Breakthrough Stone - 497,000,000 rher coins]
He could even compare the prices and select the best deal!
[This shopping method has been approved by the leaders of the respective associations, so you won't face any issues.]
If the general public had access to this app, it would revolutionize commerce entirely. But of course, it was exclusive to Domination Association members.
Stark clicked on the Braemont listing, as it was the cheapest.
Beep!
[You do not have the funds to make this purchase.]
"Of course..." Stark sighed, though he smiled. "Well, I'll keep that in mind."
[Note: You cannot sell your items through this platform.]
"Yeah, yeah, makes sense."
The sixth app was Internet.
Well, this one was self-explanatory, and Ed only included it so that members of the association could fully utilize their watches instead of phones.
With the internet and even videos on, there was no need to use your phone anymore, most of the members dropping their previous ones or even breaking them.
Finally, Stark opened the last app, Info.
However, a pop-up message immediately appeared:
[You may have the authority of a commander, but you are not allowed to open this app.]
The app locked itself, much like Alerts.
"Huh. I guess that's fine, then," Stark shrugged, slightly confused.
After exploring all the apps, Stark realized just how ingenious the Multi-Task Watch truly was.
It was far more practical and versatile than any phone, and Stark already knew he would be using it regularly moving forward.
