Chapter 58: Late Core Formation Realm, The Passing of Time

After perusing his system interface, Azmodeus figured that he'd be in here for quite a while, so he sat down in a cross-legged position and started to meditate.

Cultivation is always good to do when under immense pressure... And in this case, the pressure will come from this blazing heat pervading the air around me...

He understood that this was as good a time as any to make the best of this normally unfortunate quagmire.

After all, due to all the Qi that the Evil Cultivator was inputting into the pill cauldron, the quality of Qi inside the cauldron outclassed anything that could be felt in Yellowcreek City.

Most would think this was a fortuitous encounter!

And that would indeed be the case if it weren't for the fact that 99% of all people below the Golden Core Realm would be signing a death contract if they were brazen enough to cultivate inside a pill cauldron controlled by a Golden Core Formation Realm Cultivator...

However, in a certain young boy's case, this was the perfect place to circulate fiery red Qi inside his Dantian, allowing his Dantian to take on the attribute of fire.

A few days later, Azmodeus was still cultivating inside the pill cauldron, as his Core had already been dyed a deep crimson hue, while his hair had faint red streaks in between each individual strand.

Furthermore, his pupils were starting to show signs of fluctuating between a pitch black color and a dark red shade.

However, other than his appearance, there were also the most substantial change that occurred within him. Namely, it was the fact that his cultivation had improved from the Initial Stages of the Early Core Formation Realm to the Peak Stages of the Early Core Formation Realm!

He had effectively achieved the peak of the stage he just broke into within a short three days!

And it didn't look like he was planning to stop with just that, as even though the Evil Cultivator was suspicious of the fact that the boy had not yet turned into a pill liquid. In the end, he just summed it up to him possessing a robust frame and decided to keep going at his alchemy.

At the very minimum, he would give it a good month and a half until fretting over the peculiarities centered around the boy.

The 'Core' is a higher form of energy storage container as opposed to the Qi cyclones, but at the same time, they have far more applicable options for improving every aspect of your existence than the Qi cyclones do.

Even so, those uses are for realms far beyond what the average Core Formation Realm cultivator could hope to achieve, so the 'Core' is typically known as a 'Larger Qi Cyclone'.

To progress through the Core Formation Realm, you need to improve not only the quality of the Qi inside your Core, but also the size of the core.

The exact parameters to breakthrough each of the five minor realms of the Core Formation Realm go like:

Early Core Formation Realm → [100 Meter Core with a murky gray color.]

Middle Core Formation Realm → [300 Meter Core with a less murky gray color.]

Late Core Formation Realm → [1,500 Meter Core with a dark gray color.]

Peak Core Formation Realm → [5,000 Meter Core with a neutral gray color.]

Half-Step Golden Core Realm → [10,000 Meter Core with a light gray color. (Nearing a state where gold almost begins to shine through.)]

Azmodeus was encroaching upon the Half-Step Golden Core Formation Realm with a neutral gray-colored Core around 9,900 Meters in Diameter.

However, he would hold off on breaking through to the Peak Core Formation Realm for now. After all, he had another objective in mind that he wished to get done while under such optimal pill refining conditions.

That's right! He was looking to begin the art of pill refining!

But how would he do such a thing, one might ask?
