Chapter 98: True World of Prometheus, Starry Expanse

After a few minutes of walking, You Mei and Li Na found themselves at the entrance to a wide and vast cave, which they naturally assumed to be the Secluded Immortal's Cave Abode.

"Can we come in?"

Li Na's frosty voice echoed out as she looked toward the cave abode's depths, expecting an answer from someone inside.

He seemed to be pushing away a clingy woman on the other side of the voice transmission before continuing his words by saying, "You have clearly come here for me, but why-?"

"Don't listen to that bimbo, for it's quite obvious that I'm the wifey of the two of us!" Another feminine voice interjected.

You Mei and Li Na were confused about what was going on inside the cave abode, as they definitely heard what sounded like their youngest junior sister.

Nonetheless, Azmodeus pushed away the second woman just the same as the first one before saying, "You too may come in. Just try not to destroy anything, okay?"

Following those words, the voice transmission cut off, and it was obvious that he had allowed them entry.

"Should we go in?" You Mei inquired with a perplexed tone.

"Of course we should; now hurry up and get in there."

"Figured as much, but you aren't telling me the whole truth, are you?" Azmodeus spoke with a suspicious voice.

Li Na was about to let out a sigh of relief, but after hearing his question, she immediately knew that things wouldn't end so easily when dealing with this man.

"I was told not to inform you of this part, but the truth is that the true reason we so desperately need these Heaven Rank Pills is because we are attempting to break the barrier that separates us from the Starry Expanse and also what lies between us and the true world of Prometheus."

"The True World of Prometheus? I thought we were in Prometheus already?"

Azmodeus voiced his question with an interested glint in his gaze as he leaned his hand up to his cheek, further accentuating his chiseled facial features.

Li Na and You Mei were left a little bit awestruck by this new pose of his, as it took them a second to snap out of it.

After which, Li Na refocused her eyes on his before she said, "What you know about Prometheus is that the Northern Spirit Continent is the largest land mass in the world and is often referred to as the 'Mainland' by the natives of the smaller land masses—land masses that we refer to as the Boundless Archipelago. This is correct, right?"

"...Yes, it is, but this relates to our conversation how?"

Li Na stuck a finger into the air before an inexplicable flash of light passed through her eyes.

Li Na finished his words for him before continuing, "However, not everything is as simple as it seems, for if one wishes to breach past Prometheus and into the Starry Expanse, one needs to amass enough strength to shatter the world barrier. But to do that with one person's strength is..."

"Impossible." Azmodeus finished her sentence this time around, as it wasn't hard to infer how much strength was required to shatter something like a world barrier.
