Chapter 193: Annihilated

Chapter 193: Chapter 193: Annihilated

In the next instant, an unimaginably massive geomantic compass began expanding rapidly beneath Alex's feet. Within moments, it encompassed an area spanning several kilometers, trapping every assassin still trying to flee.

Alex raised two fingers, sweeping them upward in a deliberate motion, and spoke calmly: "Kun Hexagram—Earth Chariot."

Boom!

The ground trembled violently, rolling and undulating as though it had become a turbulent river.

Before their very eyes, the earth shifted. Centered around Alex, a wall—ten meters thick—began to rise from the ground, encircling an area several kilometers in diameter.

The wall continued to grow higher and higher until it stood hundreds of meters tall, forming an impenetrable barrier that sealed all the assassins inside.

One assassin, trembling uncontrollably, muttered:

"W-what... what is this?"

Another assassin, equally shocked, gritted his teeth and approached the towering wall. Wrapping his fist in qi, he struck it with full force.

However, the result was disheartening. A punch capable of easily shattering reinforced concrete left no visible damage on the wall. Instead, the recoil injured the assassin's hand, splitting his knuckles open and causing blood to drip freely.

Desperation filled his eyes as he cursed: "Damn it! What kind of technique is this? My punches can penetrate twenty centimeters of steel, yet they can't even scratch this wall!"

---

Another assassin stepped forward and said grimly, "Let me try."

He concentrated his qi into the blade of a dagger.

This was no ordinary weapon—it had been forged by a master artisan, sharp enough to slice through iron like butter. With qi infusing the blade, it could even pierce mystical defensive techniques like the Diamond Body.

The assassin thrust the dagger into the wall with all his strength. The blade penetrated only one centimeter before stopping completely.

And then, to their horror, the wall began to push the dagger out as if rejecting it, restoring itself to its original, smooth surface in seconds. The area looked as though it had never been touched.

The assassin stared in disbelief, muttering: "My dagger, made of cold iron, barely pierced one centimeter. And this wall... it can regenerate itself? How are we supposed to break through this?"

Despair spread like wildfire among the group.

"This is it," another assassin said, his voice trembling. "This wall's height is hundreds of meters, and its thickness must be equally staggering. There's no way we can destroy it. That Alex... he really must be the so-called Immortal Master. How else could something like this exist?"

---

One of the most powerful assassins among them tried his luck. With a single finger, he managed to dig five centimeters into the wall—far more than the previous attempts—but it was still meaningless. The rate at which the wall regenerated far outpaced the damage he could inflict.

The assassin leader sighed heavily. He knew escape was impossible. The only reason they were still alive was because Alex, the tiger, was toying with them, the mice.

His face twisted into a snarl as he looked at Alex, who stood motionless in the distance, waiting for them to make their move.

"This... this is the Immortal Master? We've lost. Completely. To die at the hands of someone like him... at least it's a death worthy of our station.

But even if we have no chance of survival, we are assassins! We can't give up hope until the very end."

---

He shouted to the others, his voice filled with determination:

"All together! Even if it costs us our lives, let's make him pay something for taking them!"

The others clenched their fists and nodded grimly.

"Right! We're not going down without a fight!"

The assassins moved as one, their figures blurring as they raced toward Alex.

Their superhuman speed allowed them to cross several kilometers in under a minute.

As they reached Alex, they roared:

"Alex, prepare to die!"

When the assassins charged toward him, Alex admired their courage. However, with a calm demeanor, he decided to imitate the techniques of the Fenghou Qimen by using the 24 vertebrae in his spine as the axis to manipulate the geomantic compass.

Unlike the traditional Fenghou Qimen, where the geomantic compass remains consistent regardless of how it is adjusted, Alex broke all the rules. He overturned the order of the heavens themselves, causing the compass to undergo earth-shattering changes as he manipulated it.

All other directional positions on the compass rapidly shrank, while the Li position expanded uncontrollably. Finally, the other positions disappeared entirely, leaving only the Li position to dominate the entire world.

The Li position governs fire. When it was the sole remaining position, the temperature surged rapidly. Golden flames erupted around Alex, burning everything in their path.

But so what? In this world, survival wasn't just about strength. It was about connections, alliances, and navigating the rules of society.

Even if Alex was a great immortal, how could he dare defy the commands of the Express Delivery Company? The force behind them was no ordinary organization—it was a behemoth!

Alex smirked as he sensed Wang Ai's thoughts.

Yes, in this world, people relied on connections and rules. Even figures as powerful as the Old Taoist Master in the original storyline were bound by these constraints.

But not Alex.

First, this world was not his original world.

Second, his power far surpassed the limits of this world. He could distort or rewrite the very rules of existence at will. Why would he care about the so-called laws governing "extraordinary individuals"?

Alex didn't reject the offer to take the phone. He accepted it and answered the call.

On the other end, a deep, composed voice came through: "Is this the esteemed Immortal Alex? This is the chairman of the Express Delivery. I've recently been informed of the conflict between the Wang family and yourself, so I'm reaching out to mediate."

Hearing no response from Alex, the chairman's brow furrowed. He knew this wasn't going to be easy.

But he was a man of principle. His mission was to maintain the balance of the extraordinary community. Though Alex's cold silence was daunting, he refused to back down.

He pressed on: "Immortal Alex, you are a figure of immense strength and renown. The Wang family's actions against you were undeniably wrong, and I will ensure they offer a formal apology.

"However, I implore you to spare the Wang family. Despite their faults, they have played a crucial role in the balance of the outcast world. Without them, that balance may collapse."

Finally, Alex spoke, his tone resolute and unyielding: "I refuse."

Before Zhao Fangxu could respond, Alex continued: "The Wang family is a cancer within the outcast community. Their issues run far deeper than you realize, and I have no intention of explaining it to you. Investigate it yourself after this is over.

"As for the balance of the world, I will handle that after I deal with the Wang family. You need not concern yourself with it."

Alex bore no ill will toward the chairman, a genuinely good man dedicated to his cause. He didn't wish to make things harder for him.

Having said his piece, Alex ended the call and ignored the phone when it rang again. Tossing it aside casually, he turned and walked toward Wang Ai.

Wang Ai, watching Alex dismiss Zhao Fangxu's plea and advance toward him, finally panicked. "You dare defy the commands of the Express Company?"

Alex didn't respond.

"Perhaps you don't understand what the Express Company represents. They are backed by the Great Dragon! Opposing them means opposing the Great Dragon itself!"

Alex still didn't reply.

At that moment, Wang Ai knew—Alex had made up his mind to destroy the Wang family.

No longer concealing the malice in his eyes, Wang Ai turned to the elders standing behind him and roared: "Brothers and sisters, the Wang family is at the brink of life and death. Let us join forces and kill this man!"

The elders responded in unison:

"As you command, Patriarch!"

They charged at Alex, unleashing the Wang family's secret techniques, Divine Painting and the Spirit Control Art, two of the most powerful abilities in the outcast world.

Even possessing just one of these techniques could elevate an ordinary individual to the pinnacle of the extraordinary community. Now, with multiple elders wielding both arts and pouring their lifetimes of cultivation into the attack, their combined might could overwhelm nearly anyone in this world—except Alex.

Alex narrowed his eyes slightly, and an intense, radiant white spiritual energy erupted from his body. It expanded outward at blinding speed, creating a repelling force akin to a supernova that swept across thousands of meters.

The spirits controlled by the Spirit Control Art and the beasts manifested by the Divine Painting were obliterated in an instant.

Next, the repelling force struck the elders at the front lines, reducing them to nothingness, followed by the complete annihilation of the Wang family's ancestral grounds and all its structures.

When silence finally returned, only Wang Ai—deliberately spared by Alex—staggered out from the ruins. He stared at the shattered remains of the Wang family's ancestral land, tears streaming down his face in grief and rage.

He pointed at Alex and roared in fury:

"Damn you! You will die! You will die!

"I have already scattered most of the Wang family's forces. When they regather and grow stronger, they will avenge us!

"My descendants will use the cruelest methods to kill you!"
