Chapter 138 Return to the Homeland
Chapter 138 Return to the Homeland
After the award ceremony ended, everyone dispersed and went home.
However, before leaving, many professional players from other teams came over to ask Jiang Siming for a photo.
Of course, it wasn't the Korean teams, nor the Japanese or Thai teams, but the North American powerhouses and fellow players from Hong Kong and Macau.
The North American players were very gracious, impressed by Jiang Siming's skills, so they wanted to get to know him, and quite a few had even become his top fans.
"Ming, you're really too strong, my sister definitely likes you a lot, I'll introduce you to her if there's a chance."
Alow also became one of Jiang Siming's die-hard fans, grabbing Jiang Siming as if he wanted to become sworn brothers, even using his sister as a 'support tool'.
Jiang Siming couldn't help but laugh and teased, "Is your sister pretty?"
"Of course, I'll show you her photo!"
Jiang Siming was just joking, but Alow was serious and took out his phone to show a picture of a girl.
Jiang Siming took a look, and wow, she was really pretty – blonde, blue-eyed, and with a youthful face and a well-endowed figure.
"How about it? She just called me, saying she really likes you and has already become your die-hard fan," Alow said admiringly.
"Shouldn't she be a fan of celebrities?" Jiang Siming said, covering his face.
"She doesn't like celebrities, she loves playing games. She said you meet both her gaming and idol standards, and now she's only going to be your fan," Alow kept pushing his sister toward the 'pit.'
Jiang Siming couldn't quite handle his enthusiasm and could only say that they'd talk about it later if there was a chance.
On championship night, it wasn't just Jiang Siming who was happy; 4AM's club manager and coach were also thrilled and treated Jiang Siming to a big meal at a Michelin-starred restaurant.
On their way back in the evening, Jiang Siming and the three others walked down the streets of London to sober up.
Compared to yesterday's wandering, today the four had no pressure, feeling completely relaxed, just waiting to return home with glory.
So now, the four of them were unabashedly enjoying the night scenery of London, occasionally glancing at the local beauties – they were feeling quite carefree.
"Here, try this." Jiang Siming leaned against the riverbank railing and took a box of cigars from his pocket.
This was a GBD cigar given by a golden fragment, and it was the first time Jiang Siming had taken it out, handing one to each of them.
"Wow, this cigar looks fancy. What brand is it?"
"Haven't smoked it before, no idea."
These two games are completely different in type, so it's not a conflict to love both.
Facing this kind of celebrity-like treatment, Wei Shen remained relatively calm, but Xingtian and Duoyu were already floating on cloud nine.
Jiang Siming was much calmer than the others. Facing this situation, he thought it was nothing at all.
Back in the day, when he needed to earn money for rent, he wore ridiculous outfits like a clown to promote products in university cafeterias, practiced public speaking on the streets, and went door-to-door selling insurance.
So, Jiang Siming had long developed 'thick skin.' No matter how big the occasion, it no longer fazed him, nor made him feel uncomfortable.
"Hello, everyone. Thank you for coming to meet us here," Jiang Siming greeted the crowd confidently, showing no nervousness.
The fans were thrilled and wanted to take pictures with Jiang Siming.
Jiang Siming generously agreed, taking photos and signing autographs for the fans.
Before long, more fans gathered around him. Even though Wei Shen and the others were surrounded by fans too, the number of people around Jiang Siming far exceeded theirs.
While everyone was happily interacting, a few rude voices suddenly interrupted.
"Move aside, move aside, don't block the way!"
Hearing this, Jiang Siming turned and saw several bodyguards in black pushing away 4AM's fans, roughly shoving people aside without any care. Some of the smaller fans were nearly knocked over.
Jiang Siming paused signing autographs and immediately stepped out of the fan group, standing in front of them. He coldly said, "This is the terminal, and there's plenty of space next to you. Are your eyes not working, or do you have to push people here?"
"None of your damn business! When I tell you to scram, you scram!" one of the bodyguards responded rudely.
"All you can do is shout 'scram, scram,' didn't your mother teach you any manners?"
"I think you're asking for a beating!" Several bodyguards immediately surrounded Jiang Siming, ready to start a fight.
"Hey, hey, no need to be so impulsive, with so many people watching. It wouldn't look good, right? He's just feeling sorry for his small number of scattered fans. Not everyone is like me, with tons of fans," a man wearing a mask, a hat, and a trench coat, covering himself completely, walked over from behind the bodyguards. His voice sounded young.
However, his words were dripping with sarcasm, clearly mocking Jiang Siming for having fewer fans and trying to show off.
"Old Jiang, who is this? Is he an idiot?" Wei Shen and the others quickly gathered around, hot-tempered and shouting.
The man ignored them and simply looked at Jiang Siming with a strange smile. He said, "I've heard of you. Seems like you've been quite popular recently, just a small streamer, right?"
"But as someone with experience, I have to give you some advice: don't get too full of yourself just because you have a little fame. In the end, you're just a small streamer. Why put on such airs?"
His tone was full of disdain, looking down on Jiang Siming with a condescending attitude.
