Chapter 157: Garnt family gathering
The backyard party was buzzing with excitement as the festivities continued. Garnt, surrounded by his group of devoted women, felt a mix of pride and amusement at the spectacle they unintentionally created. All of them one by one greeted Garnt and made sure he remembered them, and to their surprise, he remembered each of them and how he met them.
Some of them were women from the village, but there were also some girls that he met during his visit to the other sub-villages. If he spent at least one night with them, he brought them back to the main village and provided all the things they needed. After all, it wasn't just because of some random fluke; rather, most of the women were skilled individuals who impressed Garnt.
Yelena, the leader of the hot spring village, was also among this group, but right now, she didn't have the luxury to leave her village.
"I knew it! He remembers me," one of the girls said, and others nodded their heads, sharing the same sentiment, since they thought he would have forgotten about them after a long time. It had almost been a year since they came to live in Patriarch Square, and this was the first time they managed to meet Garnt in a happy moment like this.
Otherwise, it would have always been working, or Ayra and Gundo would have tried to stop them from meeting Garnt. They didn't hate Ayra and Gundo for that because they understood that, as his main women, they must be feeling rather bad about Garnt having so many women.
Kiriah's girlfriend, still wide-eyed and overwhelmed, tried her best to acclimate to the situation.
Garnt chuckled, "Well, it looks like my reputation precedes me. Don't worry, they're all here because they choose to be. It's a family affair and I will treat them nicely."
Kiriah's girlfriend, nervously laughing, replied, "Family affair indeed. I didn't expect such a... diverse family from Patriarch."
Meanwhile, Gundo couldn't resist commenting on Garnt's harem management strategy. "thirty women, really? Couldn't think of a more subtle way to use your cock, could you?"
Garnt grinned, "Subtlety is overrated. Besides, it's helping people in more ways than one. Mother, I love all of my women equally but you know Unami, Ayra, Rona and you are some exceptions."
As the evening unfolded, the women engaged in lively conversations and laughter. Rona and Unami, indifferent to the dynamics of Garnt's extended family, found solace in each other's company. Ayra and Gundo, however, couldn't shake off their possessiveness.
Ayra pouted, "I still think we should be the only ones who should be here."
Gundo, with a teasing grin, added, "Good luck with that. I already told him that and he just made me feel hot inside. That boy...." She paused for a moment realizing the way she addressed Garnt wasn't really ideal for the current Garnt."The man knows how to deal with his women"
"He must have got that from his mother," Ayra teased her back, and Gundo just smiled and his tone became much more serious.
Gundo leaned in closer, her voice a seductive whisper, "You know, Garnt, it's not easy being surrounded by so many beautiful women. I think you might need some assistance in handling this situation."
Ayra, with a sly grin, added, "After all, you wouldn't want to miss out on the chance to spend quality time with your favourite woman, right?"
Garnt, caught in the playful banter, laughed heartily. "I suppose you two are right. How about we make this a night to remember for all of us?"
As the night unfolded, the group enjoyed a harmonious atmosphere, with Ayra and Gundo effortlessly weaving themselves into the fabric of Garnt's evening. The playful banter, genuine compliments, and shared laughter created a dynamic that transcended the typical attempts at flirtation.
But before the dinner of the day, Garnt wanted to spend some time with his three kids who were playing with Kara and quickly decided to excuse himself from the crowd of women who were early trying to serve him.
"Everyone forgive me, but I want to see what my kids are up to, so enjoy the night until meal time. I will join you in a minute,"
As Garnt excused himself from the gathering, the women exchanged glances, the playful banter giving way to a subtle tension. Gundo, sensing the need to address the situation, took charge.
"Well, girls, it seems Garnt has some family matters to attend to. Let's not keep him waiting. We can continue our delightful evening in a moment," Gundo suggested, her tone both calming and authoritative.
As Garnt left, the atmosphere among the women shifted. The competition for his attention lingered in the air, each one wondering how they could stand out in this peculiar courtship. Gundo, recognizing the unspoken tension, sighed and decided it was time for a candid conversation.
With a commanding presence, Gundo addressed the women, "Ladies, let's not beat around the bush. We're all here because we care for Garnt. It's clear that he has a special connection with Ayra, Rona, Unami, and me. We are the main wives. The rest of you are welcome to stay, but you won't hold the same position."
An awkward silence fell over the group as the gravity of Gundo's words sank in. Uncertainty hung in the air until Gundo continued, "Now, don't misunderstand. You can still be a part of Garnt's life, but you need to respect your place. We're a family, and we must work together."
Gundo looked around at the women, gauging their reactions. To her surprise, all of them, understanding the situation, raised their hands, signalling their willingness to accept their roles.
With a nod, Gundo proceeded to outline the rules and expectations. "We're a team, and Garnt's happiness is our priority. No jealousy, no competition among us. We support each other, and if anyone hurts Garnt, there will be consequences. Understood?"
The women nodded in agreement, realizing that Gundo had assumed the leadership role in this unconventional family dynamic. Gundo concluded, "Good. Let's make this work. We can create a loving environment for Garnt and for all of us. Now, let's get to know each other because it's important we try to understand each other to create a better family,"
