Chapter 320 Tasks Ahead
Chapter 320 Tasks Ahead
The shock troops dispersed swiftly, each heading off to attend to their respective duties. The atmosphere in the sanctuary was one of quiet confidence as the warriors continued about their routines, leaving only Vorgrim and Dravos behind with Canna.
"Vorgrim," Canna said, turning to his trusted battle-hardened companion, "you're up. We've got new recruits eager to join the ranks of our warriors. You know what to do."
Vorgrim gave a brief nod, the gleam in his eyes unmistakable. The idea of training fresh blood, pushing them beyond their limits, was something that always fueled his warrior spirit. He lived for this, for the chance to forge new warriors out of raw talent and iron will. Enjoy more content from empire
Dravos, meanwhile, stood silent, his calm, watchful demeanor a stark contrast to Vorgrim's fiery enthusiasm. Canna addressed him next, "Dravos, one of the sanctuary warriors will escort you to the seamstress. I need you ready in 30 minutes, full uniform."
Right on cue, a sanctuary warrior appeared, bowing slightly to Dravos. "Please follow me," the warrior said respectfully.
Dravos gave Canna a small nod and then turned to follow the warrior, knowing that the transformation from a saint of Clan Varran to a full-fledged warrior of the sanctuary required more than just a change of clothing. It was about fully integrating into a new world, one that Canna had carefully built with his own hands.
Satisfied that things were moving smoothly, Canna teleported instantly to the sanctuary's information hub. The sprawling room was filled with maps, notes, and bustling activity as reports constantly came in from the shock troops still scattered across the world on various missions.
"What's up, Alexa?" Canna's sudden appearance, as usual, caught the woman in charge of the information hub off guard.
"Oh!" Alexa gasped, clutching a stack of papers as she turned to face Canna, her eyes wide with surprise. She quickly regained her composure and bowed. "Greetings, Canna-sama!"
Canna chuckled, amused by how easy it was to startle people with his ability to appear anywhere in the sanctuary at will. One of the small perks of his teleportation magic was the joy of catching his subordinates off guard.
Alexa nodded in agreement. "They truly would, and they seem eager to join us. Their leader, Balin, has already expressed their willingness to work for the sanctuary, and from what we've gathered, they're not just warriors. They're excellent craftsmen and have already offered their services to help expand our infrastructure."
Canna rubbed his chin thoughtfully. "Perfect timing, then. We're in need of builders for the expansions."
Canna then grinned. "Inform them that I'll be teleporting to meet them shortly through Noctis. Tell them to sit tight."
Alexa immediately got to work, relaying the message to the dwarves. Canna watched for a moment, appreciating the smooth efficiency of the information hub before turning to leave, satisfied that everything was proceeding according to plan.
Meanwhile, back on the training grounds, Vorgrim was already preparing to test the new recruits. His imposing figure towered over the eager warriors, his sharp eyes assessing their potential. He could feel the nervous energy in the air as they lined up, unsure of what to expect from the legendary Vorgrim.
He gave a smirk, knowing full well that by the end of the day, most of them would be bruised, battered, but stronger for it.
At the same time, Dravos was being fitted for his new sanctuary robes by the seamstress. As she adjusted the robes to fit his muscular frame, Dravos couldn't help but feel a sense of pride. He was about to become part of something much bigger than himself—something that had the potential to change the entire world.
Back at the information hub, Canna popped back in, his thoughts still on the dwarves and their potential within the sanctuary. He mulled over their integration into the sanctuary's system, imagining how they could bolster not only the sanctuary's defenses but also its craftsmanship. The sanctuary was growing rapidly, and having skilled builders would help make the expansions smoother.
Looking over the papers Alexa had given him, Canna smiled. Everything was coming together.
He had a lot to look forward to—new recruits, new infrastructure, and new possibilities. But for now, his focus remained on the tasks at hand.
