But as they were heading directly for the office of the Colonel-Bashar Azthar Harzan, as the office was surrounded from all sides. Because it was the office of the head of the Department of Cyber Security, it was located on top of the building and was also the biggest office in the entire building.

The members of the Medjay Strike Teams were already in their positions and awaited the command. All of the members of the Medjay Strike Team were wearing Psionic Concealment Runes that were concealing their presence from the sight of the other Psionics or Psykers.

Arcturus counted to the five, as he finally got onto the number five he entered to the office of the Colonel-Bashar Azthar Harzan.

Arcturus and Jeniael entered the office of the Colonel-Bashar Azthar Harzan, which was rather modest by all standards, as there were many monitors and holographic projections that were showing the data from the Imperial Defense Network in real time.

Arcturus looked at the Colonel-Bashar Azthar Harzan, who was a middle-aged man of rather ordinary appearance wearing a military uniform of the Imperial Colonial Defense Forces that was standard across the Imperium.

Albeit his own uniform was decorated by the insignias for the Colonel-Bashar Rank and several minor medals, though his uniform was overall relatively modest looking with minimalistic design like the rest of the military uniforms in the Eternal Empire of the Asurya.

"Can I do something for you?"

Colonel-Bashar Azthar Harzan asked when he noticed that two people entered his office, though when he noticed that both of them had their hands close to their weapons, he knew that something was going wrong.

The Infestation Bug in the Colonel-Bashar Azthar Harzan's mind was already working on the possibility that it was uncovered, but for the time being, the Infestation Bug refrained from any kind of action, because the bug was confident that nothing happened.

Even though all of the Infestation Bugs that were in the Ziria lost connection with the Brain Bug and the entirety of the Arachnid Nest, the Infestation Bug thought that it was mainly due to the Cosmic Shroud Storm.

"Of course..."

Arcturus said with a friendly smile as he relaxed a bit, as in a split of a second when he saw that the Colonel-Bashar Azthar Harzan looked more comfortable, Jeniael appeared next to the Colonel-Bashar Azthar Harzan with a sword pressing on his neck and several Medjay aimed their lasguns at their target.

"Bug."

The moment the Colonel-Bashar Azthar Harzan was surrounded by several people, as the Infestation Bug realized that it was uncovered, which was... most unfortunate.

It was an almost instantaneous increase in power where they would be able to fight seven above their own grade, relatively easily, but at the same time, it was also certain death. The Psion Flame that they would ignite it would burn down their very own souls.

So, the Professionals would do it only when they were on their last legs and when they were dying or they were rather sure that they would die when they were fighting, so as their last result they would drag everyone along with them to the damnation and death.

So, seeing Colonel Bashar Azthar Harzan, who was being controlled by the Infestation Bug, ignite his Soul meant the Infestation Bug was going to fight to death and attempt to kill as many of their enemies as possible.

Loyalty to the Hivemind even beyond the death.

Though that wasn't really that much surprising, as the bugs were usually loyal to the fault and the loyalty of the Bugs was something that many envied. It was questionable if this was loyalty or if it was something different, like ordinary instincts of the Bugs that drove them to behave in this way.

"Code: Red!"

Arcturus shouted as the Code: Red meant that the Infested was going to resist to death, which meant that Arcturus and Jeniael needed to contain the Infested. At the same time, the rest of the Strike Team was given strict orders to secure the perimeter and go around and start containing the rest of the Infested.

He readied his power sword with Jenaiel mimicking his actions as they surrounded the Infested Colonel-Bashar Azthar Harzan. In a split second, they slashed at him with their sword, only for the Infested to dodge their swords in a moment.

Simultaneously, there was an enormous burst of the Psionic Energy that threw both Arcturus and Jeniael away as they crashed into the walls of the office.

Fortunately, there were not many of the targets, as despite everything, the Infestation rate of the Arachnids for the new target wasn't really that fast in the end.

They even had special containment devices for the arrest and incapitation of the Infested Targets so they couldn't use their Psionic Energy, which significantly lowered their physical strength as it forced them into deep sleep.

Where they could then safely be transported into the Xeno Containment Unit of the Headquarters of the Imperial Colonial Defense Forces.

Zehal was controlling everything from the war quinjet, locking the officers of the personnel after they were checked by the Medjay. So far, they managed to apprehend around five people, though that was only the start, as there were another twenty on their list.

All of the people that were apprehended and incapacitated by the Medjay were all Professionals, most of them were Warriors, but there were also a good number of Psionics among the ones that were Infested by the Arachnids.

"Go into the Quadrant B-4A, one of the targets is attempting escape for the building using the emergency tunnel that leads to the underground tunnel network."

Zehal stated to the intercom through the Neural Extranet Terminal Gene Implants when she noticed that one of the Infested was rather smart and noticed that something was going on and attempted to escape from the Department of the Cybersecurity.

This was rather peculiar and not something that she expected.

The members of the Medjay immediately sprang into action and ran to the location that was sent over by Zehal to them. The Medjay knew that there was no possibility of even one of the Infested escaping their net, as they could start the entire thing all over again.

However, it would be much harder as they already had many of the Infested captured, and they could develop some sort of countermeasures against the Arachnids and their new method of infestation of the targets.

Still, she observed how the Medjay immediately changed their direction and started running toward the location of the one lucky escapee that was working on cracking through the defenses of the place.

Unfortunately for Zehal and everyone else, he had the master key to the cyber defenses, so it was just a matter of time. Though what was fortunate for them was that the Medjay arrived at the scene very fast and was gunned down by the lasguns of the Medjay.

If they had one less prisoner, then so be it.

As she watched one of the Infested die by being skewered through the lasgun fire, she turned her sight to the Arcturus and Jenaiel who were finishing the containment of the Colonel-Bashar Azthar Harzan.

When the Colonel-Bashar Azthar Harzan hit the ground and Jeniael knocked down the Infested, Zehal knew that this entire thing was officially over. With this, the infestation of the Arachnids on the Ziras IV has ended.

"Well... finally the entire mess is behind us."

Zehal muttered when she saw Arcturus and Jenaiel dragging the unscoiouss Colonel-Bashar Azthar Harzan out of the office. Arcturus already sent a message to the people at the Xeno Containment Unit, stating that they captured their targets.

Zehal then started coordinating everything with the Medjay and their transportation of the captured Infested into the Xeno Containment Unit of the Imperial Colonial Defense Forces.

This mission was already taking them too long, and with the similar scenes being occurring across the entirety of the Colony.

The moment Arcturus led Medjay to the Department of the Cybersecurity, the Imperial Colonial Marines started their own raids, where they were arresting and containing more ordinary Infested that were not particularly powerful.

This was a massive cleaning of the Imperial Colony.

Every single Infested by the Arachnids was either killed or contained.

Though they were killing most of the weaker ones, as those were not that important in the grand scheme of things. Mostly because their research value was much lower compared to the Infested, which was already powerful Professionals.

"At least we would have some nice time..."

Zehal muttered because it was finally the end of the mission.

She really swore that next time she would give Jeniael a good punch to the face if she would bring up another mission like this one.
