Standing by the side of the road was Erica.
Even in her casual jeans and simple white crop top, she looked like she belonged on the cover of a fashion magazine.

'Damn, how does she look that good just standing there?!' His thoughts immediately spiraled.

Without thinking, he slowed the car down, pulling up right beside her. The window rolled down smoothly as Hugo leaned over with his most confident grin.
"Well, well, what's a beautiful lady like you doing all alone on a street like this? Need a ride, gorgeous?"
Erica turned her head, her yes widening and her lips curling into that familiar playful smirk.
Her eyes sparkled with mischief as she leaned down just enough to peek through the open window.
"Smooth, Hugo," she teased, voice low and teasingly slow. "Trying to pick me up off the street now? You really don't quit, huh?"
"What can I say? A guy's gotta shoot his shot," Hugo shot back with a wink. "Hop in. I'll be your knight in shiny Benz armor."
Chuckling, she opened the door and slipped inside. The instant she settled in, her teasing expression returned full force.
"So, you and Hilary are a thing now, huh?" she asked, raising an eyebrow as if she already knew the answer and just wanted to see him squirm.
