Everyone gathered inside the guest room with Alan facing the family of three.

Mason: "Alan, let me introduce my wife, Rosaline, and you have already met my daughter, Lana. We are happy to have you here in our home."

Rosaline: "It is nice to meet you. I can't thank you enough for saving my husband and my daughter. The weight of your actions cannot be thanked by word."

Alan: "Please raise your head. As I told Sir Mason, before I only did what I thought I could; I even told him that if I found the enemy much stronger than me, I would have no choice but to abandon them."

Mason: "And I told you before that knowing when to pick a fight is the absolute quality for a survivor; still, you are only a fourth stage who went up against multiple sixth stage beastmasters and even fought a 7th to stage one. Such feats are only reserved for prodigies.

Rosaline: "When my husband told me that he was saved by a teenager, I thought he was joking, but now that I see you, I finally get it."

With a warm smile on her face, Rosaline expressed her gratitude.

Looking at the couple in front of him, he did not feel any malice, but he could not help but keep his guard up.

Alan: "Thank you for the invitation today. I am relieved to see you both fine, but on the phone you said that you had something to discuss with me face to face that made me curious. Could you elaborate?"

Mason: "I said I wanted to thank you, and of course my wife wanted to see our benefactor, but I believe in actions more than words. Do you know why I was hunted down on my last expedition? Have you asked yourself why they targeted me in the first place?"

Alan: "I always like to keep to myself, so asking about such circumstances would be an invasion of privacy on my end."

Rosaline: "How old are you, Alan? You are so level-headed, just like a person who has been in society for many years.

Alan: "I'm 16 right now; being careful and staying low-key is always the best means of survival."

Mason: "You are indeed built different. Actually, I called you here today to talk face to face about the reason I was hunted. Can you take a look at this encrypted metal card?"

Mason presented a metal card encrypted with glyphs and runes, putting it on the table.

Taking the card into his hand, he immediately activated his talent.

Alan's eyes widen in shock as he has heard a lot about secret realms, how dangerous but full of opportunities they are, although there are many that are open to the public.

Rosaline looked Alan in the eyes before bowing her head down.

Rosaline: "Alan, please take care of my daughter and yourself."

Alan: "I will, to the best of my ability, please raise your head. I can see how much concern you have for your daughter, and I have a mother too."

Lana: "Ahem, the serious talk is over. Sir Alan, would you like me to take you on a tour around the house?"

With the stars in her eyes, Lana asked to take Alan on a tour; Alan was also interested in the many facilities inside this huge palace.

Alan: "Then please allow me to take you up on your offer. I saw so many interesting facilities around the estate, and I would love to see them up close."

Mason: "We will depart tomorrow to the location of the secret realm, so please relax and enjoy your time. We are having a feast tonight."

Watching Alan and Lana walking away, Rosaline looked at her husband, who looked at her at the same time.

Rosaline: "I still can't believe it; a 16-year-old with no background to speak of is actually a fourth-stage beast tamer, and he saved your lives."

Mason: "I told you that kid was different; from the moment I saw him decisively killing those lunatics, his careful execution, precise attack, and courage to fight those who are two stages higher than him. And such a young prodigy is actually in a small town undiscovered. Honey, what do you think of him?

Rosaline: "Although you did not want me to look up his background, how can I not do it when you are planning to trust him with our daughter's life, a young boy from a single family of a mother and sister who lived in poverty until recently? He cares a lot about his family, which is a very good point. He can be cold and ruthless, but the moment he's in the house, he's warm and sunny.

Mason nodded his head as he agreed with his wife's opinion about Alan.

Mason: "He's someone you want as a friend, not an enemy. Plus, I think our precious daughter has entered the spring season. Didn't you always say that you wanted a boy?"

Rosaline: "I saw how she looked at him. Let's just leave these things to the youngsters. And I wanted the baby boy, but my husband is too busy to appreciate his wife."

Mason, who wanted to tease his wife but was teased in return, actually blushed.
