Chapter 5 FIRST PARTNER
First High School.
Early in the morning Over 500 students have gathered inside the auditorium of the school.
Anticipation and excitement fill the air, as this was a long-awaited day for many.
This day is the day that they will form their first contract with their first-ever beast.
With the students, Alan also lined up,
perceiving the atmosphere inside the auditorium.
The teachers divided the students into smaller groups and moved them into the buses.
getting ready to head to the beast hatchery at the edge of town.
Along the way, Alan looked outside of the window, deep in thought.
Although the quality of the beasts provided by the federation government is much less favorable than those on the market.
but for his own situation, it is a very thankful gesture.
as even a normal beast could take years of his mother's income just to buy, let alone to maintain and grow.
After the students reached their destination, the teachers quickly organized them.
All the students and the teacher responsible for organizing the event were now standing in front of a huge hangar.
The hangar was one of the facilities inside the hatchery.
The hangar was divided into four sections.
Section A, which holds beast cubs, as well as Section B.
Then there is Section C, which holds beast eggs.
the last section, which is Section D, or, as everyone in the school calls it, the garbage dump.
It is the section where all and any unidentified egg or defective egg is thrown inside.
The policy to form a contract is that first come, first served.
and no one can create any dispute with another inside over a beast.
Under the supervision of the teachers, students moved freely to look at their fated encounter.
Alan moved unhurriedly as his eyes scanned around.
After skimming through most of the area that Section A had, Alan was clearly disappointed.
because the quality of the beast inside Section A can only be described as subpar.
Moving to Section B, only one beast caught his eyes, and it was of the spider species.

Allen smiled and responded, "I'm sure of my choice; I think I feel I'm fated with this egg."
The manager, clearly baffled, answered "Well, it's your choice. You only get one free pick; remember, there is no return policy here."
Alan: "It's okay, I'm sure."
After finishing his registration with the manager and getting his hand on the hatching device that is provided for free with the egg, Alan got out the hangar.

The manager said in contempt
Manager: "Good God, teenagers nowadays know how to gamble with their future. I guess he will not understand until he feels the pain later"
Not giving much thought to the manager for the clear contempt for his decision.
Alan moves toward the buses; the rule for the process of forming a contract with an egg differs from the process of forming a contract with a cup.
He first needs to hatch it and then form a contract with it, so he has to wait until he's home.
After some time, almost all the students finished forming the contracts.
The supervising teachers gave all the students the rest of the day off.
With everyone going back home and Alan headed towards his apartment, he couldn't contain the excitement that was bubbling inside him.
At the same time, keeping a straight face has become much harder now; he can't wait to go home and start the hatching process to form a contract with it. This little spatial beast is his first companion.
After he reached the apartment, he hurriedly went inside, closing the door to his room.
Alan placed the box that contains the egg and the hatching device on the table, following the instruction provided by the manager of the hatchery, and assembling the hatching device.
The process of forming a contract between a contractee and a contractor is done by using a blood essence from the tamer that is introduced to the Beast, circulating the Ena inside the tamer and providing it to the Beast to form an unbreakable bond.
concluding this process, the contract will be successful following the steps from his memories Alan poked a small hole in his finger, slowly letting the blood fall into the eggshell while simultaneously putting his other hand on it, stirring up the Ena inside him and providing it for the egg.
After almost an hour, Alan felt that he was sucked dry; the process was concluded.
Soon after forming the contract, he felt a slight connection between him and the egg.
The connection was almost ethereal; it can't even be described by a few words.
He felt the satisfaction of the egg held for him as he had provided it with a lot of Ena.
After finishing up the procedure, he was clearly exhausted.
Laying down on his bed, he slowly drifted to sleep.
knowing that the process of hatching the egg will take almost 12 hours according to the instructions given by the hatchery.
so he can only wait until the morning to see the results and meet his first companion in this world.
Alan was full of anticipation about how he could finally start working towards his goals.
slowly drifting into sleep while thinking about what tomorrow might bring.
