No. 80: "S***, that was one hell of a ride."

Alan: "It got us where we wanted to go, and that's what's important."

No. 9: "There's still some distance until the huge mountain. No time for rest; let's move."

No. 80: "Aye aye, Capitan."

The three-man team moved as fast as they could while staying vigilant, looking for any source of danger in their surroundings.

After more than half a day, they finally saw the end of the huge green sea of trees.

No. 80: "We're finally out!!"

No. 9: "Now we are in the open, so we need to be much more careful from here onward."

Alan: "I agree, we do not have the cover of the trees, so the probability of meeting beasts will increase."

No. 80: "You two are seriously downers; we made it here. Can't you be a little bit happier?

The moment they reached the base of the mountain, they decided to take a rest and recover.

Alan: "First we need to find a place to make camp, either a small cave at the base of the mountain or a grove, somewhere hidden.

Then we have to do some reconnaissance to try and determine the position of the target.

I'll be taking this task as I can teleport and run away in most situations, which makes it safer for me."

No. 80: "That sounds like a plan."

As they were moving stealthily, Alan managed to find a cave that was well hidden, which is the perfect place for a camp.

Alan: "There's a cave 800 m to the south of our location. It is well hidden, so let's go check it."

No. 9: "Let's go."

The moment they reached the cave, which looked dark on the inside, hidden behind two huge boulders.

No. 80: "Those boulders are the perfect cover for this cave; let's check the inside first."

No. 9: "I agree, the ceiling is 10 m high; from the outside, the entrance is so small that you can never think that this cave has such space."

No80: "It is too dark in here, let me light up the place"

Right at the center of the cave, number 80 releases a flare, keeping it suspended to light the cave up.

The astonished expression on Number Nine's face confused both Alan and Number 80. They follow the direction she was pointing at to look for themselves.

After breakfast, Alan exited the cave as he went on to search for the target.

The first thing he did was increase his perception by using the void god talent; every time he used his talent, he felt as if he was training a muscle.

The more he trained it and used it, the stronger it became. He always felt intoxicated and somewhat nauseated whenever his perception blended with the void.

It only took a few seconds for him to register all kinds of information around him; after that, he immediately teleported to a different location.

The spot right where he was standing previously suddenly was attacked by a huge fireball, making a crater that was 10 m wide.

Alan: "This mountain is very massive; I use my perception to the fullest, but I can't cover the whole mountain.

From what I got, I felt the presence of at least seven 9th stage beasts from the area that I covered."

Inside the cave, number 80 and number nine expressions turned dire.

No. 80: "This is bad!!"

Alan: "They are numerous, but they are scattered all around."
