Chapter 171 What a Star! What a Star! I

Destiny was a unique Covenant of Nature to look at and experience.

Mixed with the Core Feature of the Investigator, Destiny was granted wings as what Alexander could find out exploded.

One could have a certain Destiny or possibility come to pass without knowing, but if they held immense understanding and had even assimilated destiny into their being, they could foresee future possibilities and future destinies!

Alexander kept this in the back of his mind as he welcomed the arrival of multiple enemy Void Rulers.

They arrived one after another, and in a matter of seconds, they exceeded a dozen.

In a short period of time, the stifling and oppressive aura of fifteen Void Rulers filled the space before them, and these were only the ones who chose to leave the vessels that looked like three mountains!

There was a Void Ruler at the forefront who had an extremely ferocious gaze as her body was swirling with particles of chaos like someone else that Alexander recalled not too long ago.

Even their facial expressions and likeness were similar as he quickly concluded that this was a family member of the woman killed by Dark Ruler Masako.

But even as he gazed at all of these fifteen Void Rulers whom he did not fear even a tiny bit, he knew that they were not the root cause of the unfavorable threat he felt before.

And yes- he did not fear them!

This was not a baseless sensation he felt, but something that he felt with confidence as his own power made it abundantly clear.

And he then had the elevated feature of the Investigator that displayed to him the very statistical values of Ascendant Energiea and Vigor of these beings, including the number of Covenants of Nature they had assimilated!

All pristinely clear.

Among the 15 Void Rulers floating before him- at this moment, not a single one exceeded even a third of the number of total Covenants he assimilated.

A Stellar Ruler that was grievously injured by the Dark Sword Ruler- one who had sworn death to any Void Ruler he came across!

And her eyes couldn't help but flash with anger of retribution and chaos.

She looked towards Dark Ruler Masako and laughed as her figure began to burn with Chaos.

"Haha, Disciple of the Dark Sword Ruler, yes? You think your identity means shit? Today, you will learn that your name will not necessarily be something that saves you!"

BOOM!

Her figure erupted with power as she...instantly disappeared.

But she didn't attack.

Her figure entirely disappeared as Alexander looked towards a central vessel.

Everything was eerily silent as the two sides faced off, but in the next moment....

HUUUM!

The void of space began to tremble.

A horrific aura bloomed from within one of the Vessels and brightened up rapidly as it looked...like a waking star!

In the next moment, a portion of the metallic vessel actually exploded as from within, a man with a chest laid bare came out.

He had smooth black pants adorned for his lower body, but his muscular chest could clearly be seen alongside the huge wound on it, and the dazzling Gem Socket that held...a bright spinning star.

A Star!

It was a Stellar Ruler who came out at this moment, and his face was one filled with malice and madness as it instantly made Void Ruler Masako somber.

Because the face she looked at...was not that of clearheadedness!

And Alexander beside her was gazing with bright eyes as he locked onto nothing else but the brilliant star on the chest of the Stellar Ruler!
