Chapter 86: Dread! III
Chapter 86: Dread! III
A deafening sense of defeat.
This was what the Human Gem Masters faced as in the skies, the two Tier 7 Ascendant Gem Masters and Branch Leaders of this Willow Tree Stronghold had gazes of rage and despondency as they evaded the bone blades of massive skeletons that occasionally burst with green waves of poisonous flames.
These Beasts were more powerful than any they had faced from Breaches before as what were they to do?
Even the reinforcements they called for would, at most, take half a day before they arrived here.
During that time...all of the millions within this Stronghold would be laid to waste!
"Why? WHY?"
The Tier 7 female Gem Master bellowed out her rage as her body became wrapped in white flames- chains of flames blooming around her as she flew straight towards Beast Lord Dread and put everything on the line!
"Gahaha!" Yet the Beast Lord only waved his hands as the massive Skeleton Knights blocked her path, one even using their bone sword akin to a javelin and throwing it towards the woman wreathed on white flames.
"Do not worry. I will absolutely not kill you. Do you know what else I can do to yo-...!"
His words never finished.
His senses vibrated dangerously as he wanted to raise his head up.
He truly wanted to!
But he was far too slow.
Something came down at the speed of a millionth the speed of light.
It smashed onto his head as...
BOOOM!
His whole figure felt a terrifying force course through him, and those whose eyes could capture extremely fast moving objects would be able to discern a silver semilunar curved blade of spatial light had come swinging down.
It tore across the hardened skin of this Beast Lord and smashed down with such shocking force that even the ground below caved in, any nearby Beasts who were in close proximity with the Beast Lord feeling a heavy pressure that turned their bodies into a bloody mess!
When a second passed, booming shock reverberated out as Beast Lord Dread was only now able to look above.
Then...confusion as she saw the young Human Gem Master on top of this Peacock.
But the confusion didn't last too long.
From the crowned young man on the Peacock, a deep voice filled with authority came out for all those below.
"Any Beast that dares to move a single muscle from now on will die."
...!
Domineering words.
Ones that when the Beasts who had just been carrying out a massacre heard, many of them gazed up defiantly and roared out!
And the moment they did so, Alexander waved his hands.
BOOM!
Vishpala moved once more as she transformed into a massive Peacock, her wings swinging like blades as a storm of lightning began crashing all around her.
Orc Minions crashed into the areas of defiant Beasts as blood began to flow freely!
And then Alexander floated off the body of Anastasia who also joined the fray, his figure descending like a celestial prince who had come to save the masses.
He floated down amidst the throngs of Beasts, his figure going directly into the middle of the army where the massive body of Beast Lord Dread wasn't cut in two.
There were thousands of Beasts all around this area, and yet after hearing his words and seeing what was happening to the defiant Beasts right now...not a single one moved a muscle!
They all stood frozen in place as they watched Alexander descend on top of the bisector Beast Lord, his eyes honed in on the Silver Gems on his Sockets as he began to pluck them out one by one- along with a particularly large Ascendant Life Gem.
The scene was etched in the minds of all the desperate human Gem Masters who thought they were facing extinction not too long ago, those fighting within the broken walls gazing out in a stupor as the woman surrounded by white flames had the other Tier 7 Ascendant Gem Master appear beside her.
Their faces hid their shock as they looked towards Alexander, no words coming on their lips.
Alexander on the other hand, calmly looked at a Silver Gem in his hands.
Around him, Beasts were frozen in fear after he made his entrance- not even a minute coming to pass as he ended the war that was causing heavy casualties!
