Chapter 533 What Was I Truly Made For

[HAWI]

"Come on, Hawi. We have tried everything. We need to get out of this shithole and find something better. Besides, who knows, we might find clues as to why Ruru did that when it was Jer who was supposed to murder the Russels.

Aren't you curious to know why we lost her to the mess?" Mbali asked and Hawi laughed humorlessly.

This was not what they usually do.

This was insane, but even she couldn't deny the spark of hope that lit up in her at the mention of the prettiest woman she had ever met.

Ruru was perfect and nothing was ever going to change that for Hawi. Ruru had been her lifeline and she had lost her, just like that. It wasn't the best of times and it would forever haunt Hawi, for as long as she lived.

"You think I haven't tried to figure shit out? Nothing makes sense anymore, Mbali. None of that ever got close enough to giving us what we needed. No one knows why Ruru sacrificed herself except for the moon goddess;@@@@

"...and that bitch is just too fucked up in the head to even consider giving us an explanation. She thinks that an eternity is just a game for her. If I could get my hands on the moon goddess's neck right now.

"I would grind it and mince that shit until she never got up," Hawi said and suddenly there was a harsh strike of lighting on their house.

There was a storm outside and Hawi knew that the woman above them was just not liking the fact that they were talking about her like that.

Well, she just had to deal with it because Hawi wasn't in the mood to please anyone; she had lost her Ruru and she wouldn't care if anything happened to them right now. She had lost everything one night and she was never going to recover from that. Continue reading on My Virtual Library Empire

She knew it too, so what was the point in trying, right?

"You know she hates it when you do that," Mbali laughed and Hawi joined in.

It hurt so much and no matter how hard Hawi tried to hide it, the pain was still there. She still missed her. She loved her and her heart as till calling out for her like the fresh breath of air that she had always been.

Oh, the things Hawi would do just to have Ruru back. Well, that was something she wouldn't even know because the goddess was a bitch to them.

"I know a place I can start working at. Some supernatural clubs where they only hire humans to serve them because they want to ensure everyone behaves. Most of the wolves and the other factions usually go there too.

"They are demeaning to the humans, but unlike us, they are scared of the moon goddess so they won't try to hurt the humans for fear of retribution for the bitch above us," Mbali said excitedly.

And Hawi's hatred earned the same excitement.

Going to a place where rules couldn't be broken because they didn't want chaos, and then they would be the chaos. That was the perfect idea and Hawi pulled Mbali's leg and hugged it like it was the only thing that made sense to them right now.

Mbali didn't object. How could she, when this was going to be the first time in all the years that they had been on this side of the realm that Hawi stepped out? She was excited, to say the least.

Seeing her boss accept the idea was like letting Hawi get a breath of fresh air too. It was not going to be easy, but Mbali was ready. She was going to do whatever it took to make sure that things were alright for Hawi.

This was what their chance at starting to live again looked like, even if it would be one that was filled with so much pain.

"Who do I get to be?" Hawi asked and Mbali laughed. They were currently in the dressing room and were scouring through the possible things they could wear or deal with.

Mbali had been ready for this from the very first day and Hawi had known it. She couldn't judge Mbali though, because this time, they were on the same page, and besides Mbali always wanted what was best for them anyway.

"We go there as men. Human men and our hair color will be brown—" Mbali began and Hawi burst out laughing at what Mbali was showing her. This wasn't expected to happen, but Mbali was just too adorable either way.

"That's blonde... not brown, Mbali. What will I do with you?" Hawi teased heartily.
