Chapter 535 Time Was Perhaps A Great Enemy

[HAWI]

"Okay. Do we teleport... or do we get a bus?" Mbali asked and Hawi chuckled.

It was hilarious how they were about to go from being a portal away to actually spending time with real people and using their luck on freaking buses. It was insane to some point but that wasn't for today. It was obvious with the face that Hawi had on.

"I agree to come along not to be stuffed into a moving container with people who smell like rats," Hawi said and this time, Mbali let out a sigh of relief, making Hawi laugh a little again.

She had done a lot of that at the last minute and frankly, she would blame it on the excitement and fear not to mention the anger that was confusing the hell out of her. Maybe there will come a time for thighs to be better for them but until then.

They had to make do with what they could right now, because it was the only way out for the lot of them anyway.

"Portal it is," Mbali said as she created a portal. It was going to be the first time they used a portal science they had come from a year ago. It hadn't been the easiest of times for them, but they had to make do with what they had right now.

Perhaps this job was truly what they needed to get out of the hell hole they had thrust themselves into. The rabbit hole was one of a kind because even the goddess hadn't been able to make them leave.

Or maybe she had, even if it was out of spite.

But then again, that didn't seem to matter because Hawi was not going out there to have fun, he was going out there for vengeance and no one would rest until she got what she so desperately needed.

It didn't matter that this was insane, because at the end of the day, they already knew what the results would be like for them.

"Let's go," Hawi said, taking one look at the mess they had made of their house. It didn't quite bother them, if anything, a part of them wanted to stay and reign in the filth, but they had made a commitment and they had to go and try it out.

It was something Hawi had expected, but the moment they left home, John had done her very best to look for her erasthai. Finding mana had become an obsession because she was scared that Amina had died, and there wasn't any hope for her.

It had been a haunting time for Mbali and right now, Hawi knew that her friend needed shit to be right. It didn't matter how long they had been here or even as master and servant, because at the end of the day, they were a part of the same team.

And as the team leader, Hawi knew her people so damn well.

"No problem, Mbali. You know I never break my word," Hawi reassured and Mbali relaxed visibly. She knew she could trust her boss's words and that was the only solace she had right now. Maybe there will be good news for them eventually, right?

"Wait, I forgot something," Mbali said just as they began walking to the entrance of the club. Hawi stared at her best friend as if they were on a mission to doom, and perhaps they were or maybe this was just a line of thought?

"What is it again?" Hawi asked, seeing as everything was ready and done.

"Names. We are supposed to be men, and we need to have names. I'll go with Khalif, and you Rafael," Mbali said and Hawi started choking on air. Of all the names, those were what Mbali had to think of?

Oh, they were doomed for real this time.

"What the fuck? We don't look nothing like Rafael and Khalif you crazy Lycan," Hawi said as she smacked Mbali's head, and she just looked at her as if to ask if Hawi had better names for them. They didn't have much time to think anyway.

"You got better ideas?" Mbali asked as they walked towards the entrance. They had all the documentation and legal issues so this wouldn't be a problem for them. But if someone didn't remember her name, then they would be in shit.

"No, but I will choose the names for the next hundredth year," Hawi said and Mbali nodded in approval. Read latest stories on My Virtual Library Empire

And so, the two friends walked into Club Hernia, their new names on their lips, hoping that the new identity could get them out of the chaos that reigned in their hearts. Perhaps that time would come.

"Let the fun begin," Hawi said as she looked around.@@@@
