Chapter 557 I'm Done Running, Malyshka
[MBALI]@@@@
When she walked back into Hernia, Mbali had masked herself since it was the easiest way for her to see Hawi. They had been separated in the portal travel and she knew it was probably because Hawi was not ready to see the queen again.
She had been all brave and shit but this wasn't something that Mbali could blame the wild girl for bailing her out on. So, she made herself invisible and headed in. She was expecting to see signatures that screamed Hawi.

But there was none for them. In fact, it was almost as if Awuor Hawi hadn't made the trip to Hernia, which was weird given this had been her idea. Maybe she needs time, right? Maybe she wanted to see for herself whether the woman was who she thought she was.
So defeatedly, Mbali walked over to where the when was seated with Kadiam and Dumi, along with the other warriors. She knew there wasn't any other palace that she could be in at the moment, and she hoped that this would turn out well for them.
"What do you mean her mate died three months before she disappeared? What the fuck happened? I thought the mates of white wolves were not supposed to die? Oh, that moon goddess is a fucking bitch for pulling that stunt on the poor girl," Kia said and Mbali turned to her.
She had been so certain that this queen was one spoiled bitch who didn't know the difference between right and wrong, but hearing her defend Hawi even though Hawi wasn't around and there was a chance she didn't even know Hawi as well, was interesting.
Mbali wasn't sure if this was some sort of a play, but she could see the distress on the queen's face. She was pissed about what had happened to Hawi, which was one of the weird things that Mbali had noticed in the night.
For a queen who was supposed to capture them, this girl sure knew more than she was letting on. Or was the amnesia thing a false truth to lure Mbali and Hawi back here to this point? Was it because Ruru hated them and that's why they were like this?
It was all so crazy, but it seems like they had a remedy for this regardless. Does it matter that the queen remembered something, or was it just an afterthought for her? Well, there was no telling because it seemed like her brain finally caught up to her words.
The words that could either doom her or have her left a prisoner forever or the words that could earn her a shot at freedom.
It wasn't going to be easy, but then one moment, she was seated on the cars in hernia, and the next, she was choking all the high guards and the protectors with her magic so harshly like she had just remembered the worst of her memories.
"What the fuck did you do to Hawi?" Queen Kia bellowed as she tightened her grip on them. All this time, Mbali was staring in shock. She had thought alto do things possible tonight, but she had to admit that what she had shared was crazier than all.
'She had a kid with Hawi?' Mbali asked herself as she stared at the woman who was determined to get out of there alive. It was like she had finally decided that she was choosing her own fate and Mbali was too shell-shocked to even move.
"I won't ask again, Kadiam. You and I both know I'll burn this room just to find her, and if I so much as find a scratch on her I will send you to that damned moon goddess. Now... I'll ask again, and you had better be quick;
"... Because your precious high guards are choking on poison," Queen Kia said and Kadiam's eyes widened as he looked at the queen before them.
There was an obvious shock at how long she had stayed like that and they couldn't imagine what they needed to do. Perhaps they needed to overpower her, but how the fuck were they used to overpower a woman determined to find the craziest wolf of all time?
"We didn't do anything to her!!" Kadiam forced out as he struggled to breathe. But that didn't seem as convincing to the werewolf un because she needed her answers and she would get them.
"Come on Greyson, you know we wouldn't do anything to her!" Dumi said and that was all it took for Mbali to spring into action.
