Nessa looked at everyone as they smiled at them and her brows furrowed, feeling a bit weird since she knew that among them were people with no good intentions yet they pretended they did.
Nessa was someone who did not like those things and wondered how one could do what they were doing and then live with themselves after.
The girl sighed, then greeted everyone good morning and they did the same to them, then they sat down and the demon was about to sit with her as well, but Jovan stopped him and at the same time, Zack glanced at the guy, wondering why he stopped him.
"What is it?" The demon asked and Nessa's brows furrowed.
"You are her assistant right?" Jovan asked and the demon's eyes narrowed.
"Yes, I am, why?" He asked.

"Good, you can't sit next to her, like the knight, you eat separately," He responded and at the same time then demon scoffed.
Zack sighed then Mikala looked at him, since he would usually eat with them as well.
'He really doesn't want to get on my nerves, well, I shouldn't cause a fuss, not now,' The demon thought then sighed.
"Your Highness, what is it?" Quion asked and the king looked at him.
"I am going to choose the next person to sit in my spot, I have already considered a few things and I think this person is the better choice, I will be here for a long time more so if guidance is needed I am going to provide it for them as well, because the person is young."
"I will make my announcement, to you guys later, but not to the public as yet," He responded and they exchanged glances then Mikala smiled.
"Nessa, I wonder who among the candidates he chose?" Mikala asked and Nessa glanced at her before looking at the others.
"I don't know but it will be one who has the heart to handle all of the responsibilities, one who will give it his all to protect this kingdom, no matter what, someone who is kind as well," Nessa responded and her brows furrowed then she looked at the king, wondering who his choice was then Mikala smiled at her.
"Sounds about right, someone perfect for the crown, things are going to change from now on," Mikala said and Nessa nodded then patted her on her shoulder and Mikala sighed.
"Well, if you have made your choice already and it is the perfect one, we will go along with it after seeing who it is that you chose and we will follow the normal procedure as well, just tell us when you are ready to bring the name out to use," Quion said and the king looked at him with a smile on his face.
"Fine by me, one of the hardest parts is finished, I made the decision after too many considerations, now it is time to get this over with, I will be giving you guys the name in the evening then after that, there will be a little celebration" He replied and they smiled at him then nodded.
"Well, I am full now, I will go train, after all, I have to get stronger," Mikala said as she got up then left and Nessa looked at her before sighing and her eyes narrowed then Zack left and went with her as well.
Since everyone had finished eating their breakfast, they left the dining hall to go and do their own things and just as Nessa and the demon got up, the king called out to her and she glanced at him as he stood up.
"Follow me, let's talk, we need to," The king said and Nessa nodded then they followed the king out of the dining hall, while in the meantime, the enemies had begun planning their next moves.
