Chapter 1080 - 1081: It's the other side's turn.

"Eventually, after a while, Damian returned alone, bringing with him Adrian's lifeless body."Ivette immediately turned to her older sister Inessa, who in turn looked at her.

"Do you remember the day and year when this happened?" he asked Amanda.

"Of course I remember," she replied.

How could she forget? After all, it was the day one of her older brothers died.

When Amanda named the date, Idan glanced at both of his mothers, and they nodded back at him.

This moment from Amanda's story coincided with the moment of Idan's birth and the staged death of his mother and Adrian.

Quickly digesting what he'd heard, Idan hadn't noticed any inconsistencies yet. He decided to check with Amanda.:

"Are you saying that after Adrian went abroad, you had no idea what had happened to him? Until your family sent Damian to bring him back, and he ended up coming back with his body?"

Amanda nodded back.

There was silence in the living room, but suddenly the front door opened, and a woman in a chef's suit entered the house, holding a large portable bag with food in her hands.

"Valeria," — Arabel stood up to greet Sofia's mother.

"I've brought what you asked for," Valeria said, approaching the coffee table. She began to get snacks, drinks, and carefully selected rations for the one-year-olds.

After delivering everything, Valeria excused herself and quickly left.

"Help yourself," — Arabel offered to Amanda and Estelle.

Both women immediately felt a pleasant fragrance that they had never felt before. Their stomachs rumbled and they blushed with embarrassment.

"Baa, baa," the two kids didn't stay away either, reaching for the food.

"This is made especially for babies," Arabel pointed to a separate portion.

"Thank you," Estelle said, unable to refuse the children and starting to feed them first.

The boys enjoyed eating Sofia's food so much that it amazed even Estelle. She usually had to put in a lot of effort to feed both of them.

The others watched them eat with smiles.

After a short pause, Idan turned to his mothers:

"Inessa, Ivette, I think now you should tell Amanda and Estelle what Adrian was doing away from his family."

Inessa and Ivette nodded and began their story from the moment of their first meeting with Adrian.

Idan listened attentively to their story, which was no different from what they had already told before. However, this time they were more explicit and detailed.

Ivette did not hide this time that she was also fascinated by Adrian, which, of course, surprised her daughter Irene, who could not help but ask:

"Mom, is this true?"

"Yes, it's true," Ivette confirmed, and turning to her older sister, she added: "Your father Adam was in love with my older sister Inessa back then."

Amanda and Estelle listened attentively to the story of the two sisters.

Amanda wasn't surprised to learn that both women were fascinated by her older brother.

Although Estelle was aware of what was happening, anxiety reigned inside her. No matter how her life changed, no matter how many years passed, she still loved Adrian. And now, listening to him having affairs on the side, leaving her alone and pregnant, she felt betrayed.

In the story of Ivette and Inessa, five friends who were close eventually split up when Adrian chose Inessa, and she reciprocated his feelings.

The two rejected parties, Ivette and Adam, eventually found each other, and the last, fifth friend, having not received reciprocation from Ivette, disappeared for many years.

Ivette became the first to become pregnant and gave birth to Adam's daughter, Irene.

It was only later that it became clear that Inessa was also pregnant, and the sisters' story came to the moment of Idan's birth.

"Then..." Inessa stammered, clutching the hem of her dress tightly. "When I woke up, Adrian told me that my son..."

Her gaze went to Idan.

"He told me and made me believe that my son was stillborn."

This time, Amanda and Estelle were deeply shocked when they heard the revelations of the two sisters.

But what struck them the most was Inessa's admission that Adrian had offered her to fake their deaths and escape, and she had agreed to it.

Amanda jumped up from her seat. "What… What do you mean?"

"A fake death?"

Inessa, not surprised by Amanda's reaction, nodded.

"Adrian helped me fake my death, and even my younger sister believed it and became the one who confirmed my death," she added with an apologetic look, referring to Ivette.

Ivette, who had already forgiven her sister, was not angry with her. She was angry at herself for not being attentive enough back then and not trying to get to the truth.

At that moment, she was so heartbroken and stunned by the fact that the burden of her older sister's newborn son had fallen on her that she was in complete disarray and could not concentrate on all the details.

"He did the same thing to himself," Inessa stunned Amanda and Estelle. "I don't know exactly what he did myself. I was heartbroken at the time and didn't quite understand what was going on, but he assured me that he had done everything right and that his family already believed him dead."

"Are you saying that Adrian didn't die then? That he faked his own death and made everyone believe it?" asked Amanda, still unable to believe it. After receiving another affirmative answer, she asked herself, "If this is true, then who did my family bury?"

There was silence.

"Even if I was very young then, I remember that it was my brother. I said goodbye to his body myself."

Amanda was at a loss.

Idan immediately noticed this point.

What happened on Inessa and Yvette's side can be explained by Ivette's emotional state and inattention. But if it was a big family, it would be easy for them to recognize the fake corpse.

"How did he do it?"

"Who helped him?"

"Damian?"

"Or perhaps someone else who has influence in the Blake family?"

Idan's mind was full of questions, and he was going through a lot of assumptions about how Adrian could organize all this. From the idea of a possible conspiracy between the two brothers to more sinister versions.

However, it was obvious that he was missing an important detail to fully understand the situation.
